Ok, so one day on the YTMND Ventrilo, alextide32 was making the flying lobster sound, which is still only known to a few people to this day, and someone asked "What is that noise?" Thinking of a fast reply he said "Hmmm, I guess it's a Flying Lobster!" It became a popular vent fad until one day when alextide32 was bored, he decided to make a YTMND about it. After making it, the site got several 5 stars and rave reviews! Then fyrestorm sent alextide32 and image called "Flying Lobster above the City" and told him to make a YTMND out of it. So he did and it then got Sponsored by TjenTang for $1.71. That made the site get top 15 and several views. The site has since been deleted, but it was recovered and is still up at http://flyinglobstersabovecity.ytmnd.com. The fad then became popular and got a few other sites made about it. Then on August 2, 2006 alextide32 wanted to buy a domain. So he figured he should buy a domain after his fad on YTMND, thus flyinglobsters.com was created!
